Olya updates the Andry count down calander each morning before breakfast. We arrive Monday at 9:00 in the morning. Today we had good news. We'll be able to pick up Andry the very day we land! He'll be excited about that. Most of his friends have gone to Spain or Italy for the summer to stay with foster families. Andry has a Spanish foster family. He didn't go visit them this summer because he is waiting for us to come adopt him. It doesn't sound like there are many activities for the children staying at the orphanage during the summer. He said they play soccer but they don't have a basketball.
Ron and I met Andry last summer when he was on vacation with his foster family on the coast of Spain. It was the first time Olya and Andry had seen each other in five years. It was so special to see the children together again. All the families had chill bumps the whole week. Here is picture of Olya and Andry by the pool..
